Fabric softener recipes....

Here is another money saver!!


Inexpensive Fabric Softener Recipes!!!



Recipe #1
1  Cup White Vinegar
Add vinegar to rinse cycle. Works great. Removes residue and odors. Also helps to keep washing machine and hoses fresh and clean too.After dring clothes DO NOT smell like vinegar - I use this myself)

Recipe #2

1  Container of Name Brand Fabric Softener
4  Inexpensive sponges, cut in half

Pour entire container of softener into a 5 gallon bucket. Fill empty softener container with water twice. (2 parts water to 1 part softener) Add sponges to softener/water mixture. When ready to use wring out extra mixture from one sponge and add to the dryer as you would a dryer sheet.

Recipe #3

inexpensive hair conditioner (whatever you like the smell of)
1 gallon water

mix together in bucket add sponges cut in half

to use ring out a sponge and toss in dryer

Recipe #4

Mix equal parts hair conditioner and water and store in spray bottle. Mist a washcloth or sponge and toss in dryer with wet load.(good if you just need a little mixed up)


Recipe #5


Pour liquid fabric softener and hot water in a spray bottle (50/50 mix) and lightly mist wet laundry before starting the dryer. Two or three good shots should do it. You could also just spritz a clean washcloth and toss that in the dryer.
